We have made the tough decision to shut down amallo.ai on June 15, 2026. Here's what you need to know:
What amallo.ai was built for
The goal was to give people a clean, flexible place to explore and use AI without being locked into a single provider or workflow. amallo.ai brought together AI chat, model discovery, and reference information in one place. We built in powerful tools like universal memory, split-screen chat, and document editing so you could use models to their full potential.
For people experimenting with different models, comparing providers, or learning how the AI ecosystem was evolving, amallo.ai was meant to be a one-stop shop for all things AI, a place to try the latest and greatest, as soon as it was available.
Why amallo.ai is shutting down
The AI ecosystem has changed quickly. Model providers and major platforms are building more of what amallo.ai offered directly into their own products. At the same time, the most valuable new AI tools are becoming more specialized — focused on specific problems rather than broad, general-purpose access layers.
amallo.ai served a clear purpose, but that window has closed. It is time to shut it down.
Refunds
All paying users will receive a full refund — no prorating, no forms to fill out. Refunds will be processed automatically, and you will receive confirmation once complete.
If you purchased a lifetime plan: I especially want to acknowledge the trust you placed in Amallo. If you have any questions, contact support.
What happens to your data
You can export your data until July 31, 2026. After that date, all data will be permanently deleted to protect your privacy and accounts will be closed. Please export before the deadline.
